This is so true. I think so many good podcasts burnout because the frequency of episodes is way too high. They are made by humans and there are only so many things people can say until they start repeating themselves and end up spiralling into a feedback loop. Add to this they all seem to share from the same pool of guests and the effect is multiplied across the whole space.
There should be a word for the tendency for all podcasts to eventually turn into.... just being podcasts. Qanon Anonymous for example, they used to be good, but these days the ratio of actual content to shite American banter makes me cringe.
