If a light fixture has:

Operating Current 8A
Operating Voltage (Power Supply) 100V~240V, 50Hz/60Hz

I presumably can't run two of them from a single extension reel which all seem to be 13a?

So assuming 2 x reels, could I run both from a single two gang socket? Presume each individual socket will have a fuse?

The fuses are in the plugs, typically (but not universally) a two-gang socket will be connected to a ring main protected by a 30A or 32A fuse or circuit breaker

Thanks - that's helpful. So if nothing else I should be able to run 2 comfortably on separate cables to the same two-gang socket. Would still prefer a single drum so I don't have to buy 2 / takes up more space in the vehicle but win some lose some.
