If I were in your place I be looking at something like a pedal Orbea Katu or a Cannondale Hooligan or the like. A small wheeled city/adventure type thing. They take up less space, even less if you turn the bars, can do most things and are overlooked by crooks on the whole, as there’s not much call for parts down the pub
Oh and I like them :D
