Further cad development of the 16" folder concept.
I think I'll try and make this hinge using a barrel nut and threaded machine handle and maybe some locating pins. The hinge will be slotted so the handle can be quick released.
I am lacking some vocabulary here making finding alternative clamping solutions difficult.
I'd like to make a hinge that uses accessible standard hardware and which can be laser cut from flat plate steel.
But other suggestions are welcome.
