Yeah, the D-Lux 7 is practically identical to the LX100ii, but curvier and prettier. I really rate the Panasonic menu system
The monochrome simulation modes are pretty nice, the only physical control missing that I might care about is ISO, though typically the camera is set on Auto ISO, manual shutter and aperture and exposure adjusted with the exposure comp dial.I guess we're now at the time when cameras are considered good enough, when a 5 year old LX100ii that retailed at £850 is sold second hand for £830....
Not expecting the X100VI to get much cheaper over time!
Lusted after an X100VI, ended up picking up a used Leica D-Lux 7 instead for half the price.
I would like the OVF and the BSI sensor, but the zoom makes it a bit more practical for me.
The 007 edition, which might help it retain value in future.
