Which bars are these? It does look like the bottom part of the bars are parallel to the ground and therefore more or less mounted correctly. But the top of the bars look too flat.
No harm in rotating them down 1-2° and the move the levers up a bit as well. I would not worry about the clamp area as long as the levers can be tightened safely.
Build is absolutely spot on tho!
