Probably been covered elsewhere but for the sake of completeness I went to see Ned talk about this just before Christmas and bought the book. A great read.
Found a link to this presentation made on the reasons for the strength of cycling in Columbia. Makes for fascinating commentary if you're interested in the backdrop to cycling
