White vs Teal will have a big impact on the feel of the room, so without sounding trite it's a preference thing.
I don't really like dark bathrooms as it's important for me to be in a bright space in the morning to get energised for the day. If you want something cozier and more lux, then a rich dark colour makes sense.

Some other walls in the turpquoisey tile.
Do I play it safe and go light (to match the light colour in the pattern tile) or be bold and go dark (to match the dark colour in the pattern tile)?
Or something altogether different?
