Sad news, big Tackhead fan BITD. Watching him and Doug Wimbish on a stage with Mark Stewart totally blew my tiny young brain, it has stayed with me. RIP

OH fuck I only just heard about Keith. I am now PROPERLY in bits.
He was literally my no1 hero. I was only talking about him last night to this guy who wrote a book about improv dancing... Keith used to do this opening set at all On-U Sound tackhead gigs BITD. He's alway lay down these STOMPING tunes then about 2/3 into the set he'd drop some incredible 15/8 time signature tune and the whole place would fall over trying to dance to it. Me and my good friend Wig made it our business to find the beat 'FIND THE BEAT!!' we'd shout and get the groove back on.

This one's a bit jazzy and a slow grower (he'd just DROP hard into something incredible live) but you get the idea of what an incredible talent this ROBOT of a drummer was. Utterly sublime. I am totally in bits now.
Take 10 minutes out of your life to absorb this masterwork of his. If you wanna hear the STOMP, go and check out Major Malfuction / Major Malfunction by him, his first solo LP.

I only just found out that Benjamin Zephaniah died late last year, which is genuinely very very sad. We lost a real one
Cracking, singer/songwriter/musician who never got the success he deserved. Think he was properly ill a while ago but had made some kind of recovery. Sad news.
