I would proceed with caution - Alpkit are laying off staff left right and centre and it might make sense to spend money elsewhere if you are concerned about long term warranty.
They have also updated the cable routing on the headtube. This causes the cables/hoses to rub on the carbon steerer and cause it to fail. I’ve seen this first hand and it’s scary that these are in production.
That being said, my partner has a Ti Camino (external routing) which she adores and has been solid.
Ouch, that sounds indeed a severe design flaw. I have also seen several reports about fork mounts disintegrating. I think I will pass on, especially that I have spent so much on Sutra already and it is fitting me well, so titanium dreams can wait a few years more.
