That's good.
I guess my point is, sports watches are pretty good and robust. G shocks aren't exactly cheap either. Though my gshock thata been in a draw 4 years still has the correct time and running...

There are G-shocks that do all those things, eg the GBX-100 series. It has a MIP screen (more like a Kindle than the trad LCD screens) which has really good readability, plus a vibrate alarm, adjustable backlight time, etc. But they are larger and more expensive than the 5610 and don't solar charge.
