  • Warranty replacement crankset hence 9200 11 speed not used as I paid full price for a new crankset before the recall (thanks Shimano...)

£300 posted - or possible long shot swop for Assioma duo pedal set can collect from Stamford Lincs as well

  • Thanks but that's 12 speed - from what I've read on forums it may or may not work with 11 speed, I think Shimano haven't said yes or no to backwards compatibility, pretty sure if you use this with 12 speed, shifting would be terrible

  • Do I read correctly 12s on the inner and 11s on the outer chainring?

  • Yeah it's a warranty replacement from Shimano that's how it came, there must be some technical reason behind it, presumably outer needs to be the 11 speed width to work and inner doesn't make a difference or they would have just sent a full 12 speed setup

  • Link says £231!

  • Tell that to all the pro teams using 11 speed 9100 cranks on 12 speed groupsets for year after Shimano launched DA9200 but couldn't supply enough cranks.

    • btw I have one of these FC09 cranks, not sure to use or sell. Im trying to work out if its a 9200 with a special big ring or the crank itself is different too.
  • Several other teams were also using third party 11 speed cranks with power meters with 12 speed Dura Ace set ups with no issue. Due to Shimano not being able to make a reliable crank based power meter.

  • Does it ? What code are you using ?

  • No code, I just clicked on the link:
