These look the sort of fit I'm after, will check them out. I wonder if the trade chef pants are really workwear only.

Dude. Airism is amazing.
I backpacked and toured with Airism boxers, pack to nothing and dry fast. In the summer I wear Airism vests under work shirts to keep me cool.
The vests have lasted incredibly well too. So while plastics in garments typically cannot be recycled further you're not replacing them all the time.

My point is not how good or bad Airism is. My point is that they call it cotton and its made of almost 50% plastic. Disingenuous and deceptive.

That's totally normal these days, just look at Sportwool, it is:
It is a lightweight, composite fabric consisting of a layer of machine-washable superfine Merino wool next to the skin and a layer of tough, easy-care polyester on the outside.
but somehow that's not mentioned anywhere

https://www.pearson1860.com/products/road-short-sleeve-merino-jersey-to-brightonand this is a merino t-shirt now
https://www.rapha.cc/gb/en/shop/mens-trail-merino-long-sleeve-t-shirt/product/AGV01LSAPAIn the case of Airism I see the cotton as a negative and only get the full synthetic versions.

But they don’t - they call it Airism cotton, and it’s a blend of Airism, and cotton, no?

Oh - I see - yes. You're right. Back to my cave I go :)

Socks are the only exception for me, everything else that is made with wool should be all wool.

Got a nice Oliver Spencer shirt on ebay, listed as large - didn't see it was neck size 15" and now it's arrived it is definitively not at all large, really quite small in fact.
Anyone want this for £8 posted..?

Any suggestions for a tailor for some suit alterations? East preferred but can go into central if needed. I need (what I think) is a small bit of work on some trousers and a jacket

Joined the Carhartt dungarees crew.
Wearing them to work, coupled with a t shirt covered in dinosaurs.
More than one person has described me as an overgrown toddler
(TBF it was the aesthetic I was going for)Thinking about throwing a tantrum later.
