on that I never posted the whatthefuck have I done image, in buying there so close together shortly followed by I could have got the honeycomb dial, in retrospect the differences do warrant (out weight) the similarities

Tried on a Pelagos 39 and some cunt watches. The solar tag Heuer watch felt best. Less flashy, sat lower on the wrist and wasn't noticeably €3k worse than a Pelagos 39. I know comparing quartz and automatic doesn't make sense, and I'm only going on intuitive feel, but that is what I left the shops thinking.
That picture was just for me rly, but it shows how low profile the Aquaracer solargraph is.

I'd be happy with it , but on the image it doesn't look like a jewellers finish

cunt watches
I like that Dammits prejudices on tag carry through
-

Do you mean my horrible finger prints, or the general finish of the watch? The Tudors I tried did seem higher quality, but not by a million miles.

Filing of the bezel - it could just be the light, [it's well within the tolerances of life and use]

Nice. Love solar powered watches. So nice being able to pull it out the drawer and it's instantly on the right time
-
• #76762
Pull it out of the drawer where it’s been in the dark ?
-
• #76763
Yeah, it sees the light and sets the time. Maybe I'm thinking of solar + radio
-
• #76764
Yeah this one is just solar powered, you still have to set the time. The solar power last a while though: "two minutes of sunlight powering the watch for a full day and 20 hours of solar charge providing six months of power"

I like that. And quartz is good.
It might also be argued that Rolex and Tudor are way more cunty, not even starting with Patek Nautilus. -

*Cunt watch.
Any watch over £500?
Cough

Ones showing off, because showing off wealth is questionable? You might argue that starts at 500, yes.
The rose gold royal oak offshore my watchmaker wears sometime for example is very much over the top. Amazing though. -

Apart from on here ( for obvious reasons) I've never shown my rolex off or even let anyone know ive got one if someone spots it and comments I'll chat about it / watches in general other than that omerta apologies for the lack of punctuation hope everyone is doing well

I guess a cunt watch can become 'activated' in certain scenarios

Yeah, I'll just pop a picture of my £360 luxury watch up and be counting myself lucky
