  • What a dramatic finale and, really France should be P3 W0 L3! They were trying to score from every single play in the first half and I’m sure a bit more patience and structure would have had them 15-20 points up at half time; some of the play was plain stupid - just looping miss 3 pass after looping miss 3 pass when building phases and putting the ball through the hands would have surely resulted in points. Absolutely fair play to Italy who will be gutted, quite rightly!

  • The only question tomorrow is do Ireland get their bonus point for 4 tries before half time.

  • I want to say no but will probably jinx it. Is there a Twickenham factor? I reckon Ireland by 16

  • England will beat us comfortably. We've won three matches, so this is effectively a quarter final which we are fated to lose.

    #donttemptfate

  • Ha, very good. 3 away wins is a rarity but can’t see beyond it
    Sco by 9
    France by 4
    Ireland by 16

  • Add 10 to all those margins…

  • Even a hatful of George Ford drop goals won't save this stuttering England squad.

  • What a finish

  • I'm not even remotely Italian and I am almost in tears.
    That was a great game.
Brex MotM, I'd have given it to him or Capuozzo.
Garbisi hitting the post again could have been the decider, so glad it wasn't.

  • They should have three wins. Been good enough to beat England and France.

    Chuffed for them.

  • Hope Nash is ok. That looked bad

  • Italy Scotland was great.

England playing at an intensity that hasn't been seen from them in years.

  • Wales being a place below France sounds like we're having a good 6N, until you see where France are.

  • England vs. Ireland is a great game. Sounds like I'll have to catch up on Capuozzo's antics later as well.

  • Ford’s place kicking is really hurting England, the last two have missed by quite a distance

  • Brilliant match this.
And well done Italy earlier - deserved that after the France game. Good to see them competitive.

  • England's kicking tho...

  • What a game of rugby

  • My word

  • That was brilliant.

  • It appears Twickenham can actually generate an atmosphere. Why hasn’t this happened in the last 25 years?

  • “Rugby? Bloody hell”

  • The only question tomorrow is do Ireland get their bonus point for 4 tries before half time.

    Well well

  • Brought in Marcus Smith for exciting rugby and all he does is kick….

  • That was my pre-match summary of how these squads had previously played.

I'm delighted to see a competitive squad under Steve Borthwick play to their ability.

Who spiked George Ford's kicking boots?
