I have a formative memory from childhood of being held down, while my father jammed nasal forceps into what felt like my brain to retrieve a lump of cheese.
Kids these days with their anaesthetic and qualified surgeons.
(My old man was a gynaecologist. I don't want to known where those forceps had been previously. At least he went in through the nostril though.)
Spent the last 4 hours at Epsom A&E after my 4 year old shoved a popcorn kernal up his nose.
Got to go to St George's tomorrow morning for him to have it surgically removed under anaesthetic.
