Just watched episode 4. I hadn't seen the footage of Mrs Mao's trial before. Curtis' libertarianism started to cut through on this episode. I'm assuming stormin norman appears soon.
As a counterweight to where I also assume Mr Linen Jacket is headed.

Curtis' libertarianism
Huh? I never thought of him as a libertarian. But I am open to be persuaded otherwise.
My assumption has been that he's a warm and fuzzy social democrat hoping for grass roots community engagement to come back again. A pre-Blairite so to speak.

I wouldn’t go as far to say I’m very articulate with my political writing or writing in general, but I’ve throughly enjoyed his latest series, has touched on lots of point I know little to nothing about. The mixture of music and archive footage alongside the commentary has been great here!

😂. Put this on to do the dishes to but because there’s no voiceover ended up spending an hour washing 4 plates.

I would totally rock a blacked out version of this.
Agreed. I just sent my mate a WeTransfer with the back catalogue, suggesting he started with Century of the Self.
This latest series wouldn't be good place to start I reckon.
