Couldn't get it to work on CRC or Wiggle for me.
EXTRA10
applies but gives no discount -

Anyone who's recently ordered from CRC, how long did it take for your order to get processed? My pedals seem to be stuck in limbo...
-
• #7329
I have a couple of orders in limbo for a couple of days. A 14" kids bike and some other bits I've been wanting for a while became too cheap to resist
I guess they've left minimal people fulfilling orders with the very demotivating prospect of no job at the end of the short busy period. Then it'll be handed to a driver at Evri who probably hates their job and bosses too.... I'll be surprised if everything turns up to be honest. -

My holiday will be ruined if my fleeces do not arrive :( Brrrrrr.
(Sunday, still processing)

@Bearlegged I ordered some pedals on Friday. Didn't update until Tuesday. Arrived today.
-
• #7332
Cheers folks, will keep my fingers crossed for another couple of days before I nudge them.
-
• #7333
It seems it takes a little bit longer for orders on CRC than those on Wiggle. Still quite fast all considered IMO, especially compared to some other online retailers.
-
• #7334
Wiggle and CRC seem very low on interesting bits. Discounts seem to be inactive even if they apply correctly

I’ve blinked and bought a set of Doyenne wheels after they went down to £250. I’d been waiting for another price drop on the Primaveras but I lost my bottle.

Great set of bars https://www.chainreactioncycles.com/p/prime-doyenne-lightweight-alloy-road-handlebar-31-8mm
And https://www.chainreactioncycles.com/p/prime-doyenne-aero-alloy-road-handlebar-31-8mm
Both for a very good price. Just received the 42cm Prime Doyenne Lightweight Alloy Road Handlebars today and they are superb. Lightweight, great shape, look great, and the shape allows for a very smooth transition between bars and hoods/shifters. Highly recommend if you're fine with 42/44cm bars :)
I combined them with this https://www.chainreactioncycles.com/p/prime-doyenne-alloy-stem-31-8mm stem and couldn't be happier, they work, fit, and look great together!
*Replaced a Zipp SL Sprint Stem and Specialized Hover Handlebars, much happier with the fit and aesthetics on my roadbike now :)
**I got both of these while the EXTRA10 code was still active, but I still believe the price is worth it even without the code

Has yours arrived yet? Mine says dispatched but no movement on tracking.
Yep, arrived yesterday.

Can confirm the ratchet rings are interchangeable. In fact the entire freehub bodies can be switched between Prime and DT Swiss hubs.
I received an SR2D rear hub today which cost £18 and weighs 275g. Basically a very cheap DT 350. Am also waiting for a set of the 54t ratchet rings and a set of front and rear straight pull SR1D hubs.

Thank you for the confirmation! Do you know if the special grease is required when replacing (i.e. is it good enough to just put the new one in). If not, do you know where I can get it separately?
-
• #7340
It's still listed in stock at Wiggle:
https://www.wiggle.com/p/nukeproof-horizon-pro-grease-20g
I would think that without it you run the risk of prematurely breaking the teeth on the ratchet ring. Also that the hub will be Hunt levels of noisy!

• #7341
Mine too, built up last night - seems solid.
-
• #7342
Which DT hubs do you reckon the Prime SR freehub will fit? I have 370/350/240 in various configurations and a few spare freehub bodies wouldn't go amiss.

I got the refund for the wheelset I sent back to Chainreaction Cycles. Considering that I placed the order on the 28th Feb that's a really quick turnaround.
-
• #7344
Got a dispatch note today for an order placed on the 1st, if anyone is wondering what the lag is. Placed an order yesterday with ETA 14th
-
• #7345
Which ratchet rings have you bought? I’m on the look out for the upgrade kit for SR1D hubs.
-
• #7346
Lack of staff, as they have been slowly laid off I read somewhere.
-
• #7347
The Nukeproof ones are the same as the prime ones.
