Is there an equivalent of skyscanner for trains?
Like if I want to go from London to somewhere in France.
Cheers.

Rome2rio is a good start for initial planning (not train specific).
Id then divert to seat61 for specific guidance on booking trains/best times etc.Edit. Not sure those sites will help with cheapest day to travel etc like Skyscanner would.

Quote from Liz
“I’m not having those anywhere near my bike!”
I think she’s on the fence. -

TheTrainline will book it, and there is an argument that whilst it might be slightly cheaper to book it in segments, it's probably better all in one in case disruption effects part of the journey

I’ve had Trainline fail to book my bike for one of the segments

Ah, TBF I haven't tried anything more complicated than just booking tickets, good to know!

I’ve always found the Deutsche Bahn website to be the best for train times and tickets.

Why the fuck do I have mould on my shop bought gherkins which went straight into the fridge?

It does look quite beautiful though, like a nicely iced cake.

Contamination and an imperfect seal.

I know right? Especially as you gently move the jar it shows up the soft rocking of the surface tension.
There's also this weird thing inside you where you can't help but try and strategise how to get a gherkin out without touching it.

Just smuggle it back into the shop and switch it on the shelf with one that isn't furry.

I would recommend looking at https://www.seat61.com/
It's not a booking site per se but is very good for advice.
For example, who to book connections with (this can affect whether you can be refunded if you miss one) -

Standard response, ah well.

I have one of these office chairs.
https://www.ikea.com/gb/en/p/flintan-office-chair-black-50489031/
I've had it about 3 years and although it's not amazing it isn't bad and I haven't found a better option yet. The seat pad is pretty flat now though so I could do with putting more foam in there. I assume it's mainly a case of taking the staples out, cutting some foam to shape and sticking some more staples in but it's not anything I've tried before.
Any tips? In particular any suggestions on what foam and how much to use? Cheers

Go to dunelm and try out some foam irl to see how much it compresses.
If you're going to add foam on top use some spray adhesive to secure it to the existing foam.
Watch some videos on reupholstering. It's not rocket science, but it's good to know what order to work in.

You should be looking for a foam which has a soft compression top layer, bonded to a particle foam layer which has less compression for max comfort. If you are in London, give Pentonville Rubber a shout. They're in Pentonville Road.

Foam, electric carving knife and a staple gun is a good way to spend a couple of hours.

Near angel. Better to call and explain your needs or go in and chat. The website is very basic.
