There were 3 sections that were an absolute mess, starting from the worst, the stretch from Birching Coppice to Toot Hill through a field, the "single track" down from Clatterford End and the bit at the beginning of Epping Forest between Hollow Pond and Woodford Green.
I have tweaked these out and marked them green in the revised route below. Still plenty of mud, but somewhat all rideable in case anyone wants to give it a go in the next week or so.
