Thanks! The dark bits are wet, it was raining when snap was taken. Quickly dries back to the natural marbled cement colour.
No bathroom up there, I don’t believe in en-suites and we don’t need another bog, but we’re running all the plumbing up there anyway to make it easy to install a bathroom in the future. All waste and plumbing runs through the eaves and out of the side passage wall, so no visible pipework at the back of the house.
A friend is doing their loft right now as well, and their waste is running down the underside of the new staircase.
