I heard Tom Southam make an interesting point that some teams are now happy to ride for 2nd. With the importance of UCI points and the dominance of Visma / Pog / VDP etc it's made 2nd place 'worth' it. UAE were singled out in particular as a team that, when Pog's not there, are happy to ride for 2nd as they want to win the UCI team overall at the end of the year. Certainly explains Pollit's ride

I have Eurosport and it just changes commentary language to whatever country you are in. I don’t know if discovery have a Tirkish commentary team though so it may be in English anyway. The only thing you need to check is race broadcast rights and if they have it in Turkey. Or get VPN and watch as normal.
