The wind was the least of the nuisances this morning.. Half of the group came back with no brake pads left, and mine were new last week!

Can confirm the weather did not improve. We had hail, pissing rain and a tiny bit of sunshine. Half my group gave up due to mud-related mechanicals, so many brakes gave up the ghost.
Fair play to anyone who did it on Sunday instead, you had a lovely day for it!

If I had the choice and we could move the event to Sunday, I definitely would hahaa. Tbf, a few days ago the forecast was saying tomorrow would be dry so I'm hoping against hope it'll change again and it won't be that bad. It'll be real sloppy regardless but it'd be nicer without rain as well.
