Needs a 110V transformer, the kind used for site work will be centre tapped to earth and have the right socket, e.g. https://www.tester.co.uk/defender-portable-power-tool-transformer (no affiliation🙂)

Thank you! At least now I know what to look for.

EDIT: although used ones cost more than what they paid for the jigsaw.

Yeah, easiest option will be sell it on eBay and buy a 240v

I think I got a 110v transformer off gumtree for ~£30 a few years back. But they’re heavy things - and lugging around a 15kg transformer with your 1.5kg jigsaw is a chore
