  • Not much progress, but stripped the bike down to the frame. Except one downtube bolt that decided to put up a fight it went surprisingly well...

  • oh yes, I've seen the bike on pedalroom, great, great build! any chance you remember the seat post size? I' ve found a sole reference to 26.8 but the bike seemed to have a columbus decal not oria...

  • Cool! It was 26.8mm on mine.

  • Thank you. Back to business: decided to touch up the varnish since i just so happened to have a close matching enemal paint available. I am not sure it is good ideea anymore since it went on kind of thick to cover the scratches/ chips.

  • Perhaps strip the paint off the forks? Should be chrome underneath and come off easily.
