it's a great bike. However, at the moment, an evo frame hardly sells for 400, a 105 rim brake groupset barely for 150. The kit and aksiums- apart from the saddle - are unfortunatly these days token value.
not being negative, but over a year ago i bought the same frame setup in 56 for just over 1.1k, with ultegra and hunt wheels which did have a resale price of around 450. At the time i didn't overpay by much but 12 months on it's a different story.
Interesting, I've not tried to buy a secondhand road bike in a while. Had no idea prices on rim brake stuff had dropped that far. It's also making me wonder whether I even bother getting my old one repaired. For the cost of a carbon repair, I could just get another secondhand one.
