Someone on a podcast made an interesting point that Haley still has money coming in, and this is why she's still fighting. The rational for the funding is to make a stand against Trump - effectively not letting him take the party without a fight.

I think Haley's position is sensible.
Given Trump's age there's a none zero chance the fucker dies or becomes incapacitated in some way. Other than that, if the US is still a democracy four years from now, showing some fighting spirit in this round will serve her very well in the 2028 elections.
