Sounds a bit of a cunt to be honest.

Oh man.
I expect chubby cat to tear that thing down overnight. -

Well the big potato (and the cardboard box stopping him) have survived the night.

My ex cats, the boy cat was a bit of a cunt to his sister. Same litter.
He tried to hump her, week before he was booked in before the chop. Generally attacks his sister to grab her wet food that they get twice a day.
They have access to nuggets, and boy cat doesn't let his sister eat as he will go annoy her.

No real improvement with May's right eye, so off we go this afternoon for another check-up. Can open it a little better. but when administering her drops it still looks rather red.
This is...exhausting

Don't worry, it's not always like this!

I considered something similar before as one of ours (the skinny one) requires twice daily medicine. Luckily the one with the larger appetite hasn't taken to physical bullying, but she will happily flip the feeder upside down trying to get to the forbidden biscuits.

Woman at the vets is now referring us to an Opthamologist - waiting for a call whenever for whoever will take a look at her. She's said it's possibly now a melting ulcer that has been brought on by the floor. Now off Isathal and onto another bunch of eye drops, as well as the Remend we already have.
Kind of upsetting and both relieved that we have the insurance at this point

Our two kittys are wonderful, but they are driving me mad jumping up onto kitchen surfaces. Anyone got any cat training tips? A water spray doesn’t work
Or is it normal? -

Despite hating human food, one of ours will always jump up onto the counter as soon as we go upstairs to bed. We did find once that she'd been in the salt that we used to leave out on the counter, so that's something we have to keep hidden now.
I've seen the tin foil trick online a lot, but no idea if it works long term. -

Depends on the cat. Like the one about cats not liking orange peel

Thought I’d post an update as Lyra’s been with us for about 12 weeks now and she’s very much ruling the roost.
After a wary beginning our old boy, Sushi, has decided she’s ok too.

She’s such a toddler still that I have to put her down for a mid morning nap while I work

All booked in for the opthamologist tomorrow morning, although wish they were closer instead of going to Hampstead. Consulation fee is just shy of £450, sheesh.

Oh shit. You really got in at the deep end of cat ownership. But seems like you're up to it.
They also don't really hold grudges that long ;-).
We used yums (small soft treats) to make the cat swallow pills, don't know if they exist on the island. -

Pretty much. Said it had likely been brought on my stress. Thankfully no need yet for anything like a graft, and if we stick to the above should start to notice some changes by the weekend.
My own eyes burst at the £1200 bill. Any idea how long it normally takes to see claims to appear on Petplan?

So cute
Don’t be fooled., she’s a stone cold assassin-in-training wrapped in fur. She spends her days stalking us and leaping out when we’re least expecting it. She’s going to have to have a collar with a loud bell or the local bird population will take a massive hit.
lol
LOL 😅
Amazing!
