  • Oh shit. You really got in at the deep end of cat ownership. But seems like you're up to it.
    They also don't really hold grudges that long ;-).
    We used yums (small soft treats) to make the cat swallow pills, don't know if they exist on the island.

    I'm struggling to get my cat Mowgli to take his daily meds for his recently diagnosed and sadly progressive heart condition. He's a fussy eater anyway and frightened and aggressive if I try to pick him up without it being on his terms (legacy from trauma as a kitten). They are small pills but too bitter to go unnoticed in wet foods and treats so I'm now trying insanely expensive liquid and chicken flavour versions.
