That Buzzbike probably isn't bad VFM according to someone over on Singletrack...
Ordered a buzzbike h700 on friday and it was delivered by parcelforce yesterday- they text a delivery slot time around half 8, and the bike came between 11 & 12, as they said. Given how quickly some of the vitus bikes have sold out, this was a bit of an impulse buy/rushed purchase, whilst at work- and I missed the extra 10%
Never a £2500 bike! So i was a bit suckered there by the ‘80%’ off.
As already stated, its been sold at £1250 before, a quick look on ebay had them from £950 -£1150.
£500 feels like an absolute bargain for a belt driven e-bike.
Just done the first commute on it, and its great fun.
Its like an automatic 2 speed gear box, that seems to change whenever it feels like it!
There are no instructions in the box, but googling ‘Buzzbike EZ’ has some info, as ‘h700’ is the bafang motor.- double tap the power button to turn the dynamo lights on.

Hmm at Wiggle the Castelli bib tights I was going to buy in XXL tomorrow when I get paid, have mysteriously jumped from £38 to £76. Like people said it appears they have a random price generator at work.

I messaged the support to see if they would honour the lower price and why it’s changing so much, they said they wouldn’t and the prices are done by stock remaining so I guess if they still have a lot of something they are selling it silly cheap and then raising the price again when it gets to a more manageable level

Same. Hope it deals with hills, or I can figure a way to get gears on it!

I am very tempted too but I always figure I am too old for e-bikes now.

• #7161
Looks like that buzzbike has gone - unless they are all sitting in folks baskets

Just been removed from my basket by Mike's little helpers! WTF did I actually want with a Bang Bang moped. My id actually desires a 1000cc inline 4 motorbike.
-
• #7163
I’m guessing they pulled it, I kept adding them to my basket as it’ll say how many they have in stock if it’s less than 30, never got an error message so they have the stock, unless they sold 30 of them in the last few hours

I feel like everyone's maybe a bit too hopeful that a broken website for a dying company is actually going to work properly when it comes to stock/prices.
I'm pretty surprised customer services people are even bothering to answer messages.(that said, if anyone sees any winter mtb boots in sizes 45-46 for a bargain price, let me know)

I've been watching these for a while, hoping they drop to the £70 region.

Was also hoping they'd drop lower

All the pricing seems to be up and down, continuously. Prime doyenne wheels in 50 and 38 can be had on crc for 270 with EXTRA10.
They must have a date they're working toward getting rid of stock, EOY at this rate i'd guess.
