to those 6 kids from the fringes of the team who turned up and played a massive part today ..... fan-bloody-tastic, they made legends of themselves today, memories they'll cherish for the rest of their careers wherever those careers take them.
i had a feeling of dread seeing that subs bench today, only two recognised, regular players to come on and make an impact but the kids stepped up and did a sterling job and of course virgil with a true captains performance. properly proud of the team right now.
hope we have some players still able to walk for weds vs southampton .... play the kids / the kids are alright !
we're so gonna miss jurgen when he goes.

Well done Liverpool. I switched on at the 26th min of extra time, hoping for penalties, but saw the goal.
A bit off topic, but I just rewatched Newcastle Vs villa from years ago, when Lee Bowyer and Kieran Dyer had a fight. I liked the description of the clip, so true

I was at that game. Never has a post match pub debrief been so sweary. My dad's mate Big Pete was gone.
For balance, why not try these two as well?

Everton soaring out of the relegation zone after having their points deduction cut to 6. Can't say I'm surprised.

Wonder how that effects our hearing.

Everton soaring out of the relegation zone
We were out of it anyway 😉

Just setting them up for the 10 point deduction to come in April. And Forest.
Ideally will mean 4 teams within a couple of points going into the final couple of rounds.May has Luton v Everton, Sheffield v Forest, Everton v Sheffield, Burnley v Forest.
Spicy. -

Based on that ruling I'd guess they may go for 6 points deductions.
I do have tickets for Burnley v Forest but with our current performances I can't see us having much to play for even if there are deductions (plus of course the appeal gets announced after the end of the season so plenty of scope to get a convenient outcome).

Why has the F.A. Cup been demoted to a load of mid week matches ?
The F.A. , the Premiership , modern football , is shite ….. -
• #167872
This West Ham v Brentford game is entertaining enough.

• #167873
I’m moaning but watching Cov against Maidstone - it’s free - … just seems a shame an F.A. Cup possible ( not any more ) upset is now on a Monday night … guessing because the big nob teams and Premiership don’t want it to interfere with their cosy , well paid world ….

Foot like a traction engine.
FFS. Fairplay Liverpool. Chelsea had chances to win it. The coms from Carraher is going to be bleach drinking inducing.
