Foakes on his way to the first(?) Test century scored exclusively in singles.
He has embraced his inner Chris Tavare. -

Should probably take up a new hobby at this point

While I consider this,
I will concede I am ambivalent about 10CC. -

2 or possibly 3 overs of Anderson magic to reduce India to 15-3 at stumps?

Feeling entirely vindicated in not renewing my TNT subscription. Worse shambles than day three of the last test.

MV had also setup the 5 wicket haul a bit earlier on.

I'm torn:
Obviously I don't want to get up at 0400 to see us soundly beaten.
But, if I don't get up and something miraculous happens, I'll be proper annoyed.
Hmmmmm.

… er , isn’t it your fault we are going to lose anyway … ? going back to your earlier predictions … !

Been mulling in this. If my team, England, is failing I don't want to watch, yet it's cricket (not football), perhaps less tribal.
I will enjoy a Jaiswall innings, a kuldeep England rout, it's good cricket. Entertaining and, as you allude to, unpredictable.
I'm paying my dues to tnt/discovery for another month hoping to enjoy more cricket, whoever is playing.

Game on!
If the pitch does what it did yesterday after lunch, this could get very spicy indeed!

Agggghggghhhhh!

They said that Bill Lawry always got his nose over the pitch of the ball when he was playing it, Shoaib goes one better and gets his nose over the pitch of it when he’s bowling.
(Gags aside, he bowls a very nice shape and hasn’t let too many bad balls go. He’ll be a player.)

Just 3 overs for Anderson in India's 2nd innings?

While that does seem a mite puzzling, the risible batting performance yesterday is what lost it (again) for England.
Thinking the same thing.
