Anything before they started running the brake cables under the tape is so hard to date for me; could be mid 60s to early 80s AFAIK.

But the digital watch narrows it down a bit ;)

That sort of knowledge is a level of detail I'll never have...

The sort of thing which would realistically help me date bikes of this era would be say, knowing when hardox rims became a thing.
