it just has a rather low stack and long reach for what is supposed to be a more chill touring/light gravel bike (imo)

There’s wrong with the geo, the issue is they didn’t follow through with a 1” steerer. ;)
Seriously there is nothing wrong if you accept you’ll be running a shorter seat post and stem. -
high standover and long reach too, totally pointless
and like all steel bikes, it will weight a tonne sapping all the joy of riding a bike

Yah, in their press brief for the refresh they were like “we have kept the same great kepler geometry!”
!! That is the worst bit of it all.
