Just been camping with a few folk, got talking music, one of them is a sound guy, turns out he flew out to the states to record some stuff for Jason Isbell, who he said was a very nice chilled guy, much fan envy.

Saw him play a superb set with the Drive By Truckers in Islington a long time ago. drinking JD from the bottle, climbing the lighting rig etc. He has been sober for a long time now. I just wish he included a few more uptempo songs on the solo albums

The Willie at 90 album is a really nice listen, good choice of songs and fabulous sound quality for a live recording.
