and agree with CHE re external. garage door and other door just look great with the bricks without distraction.will send pic of our kitchen at some point. but is a dumping ground at the moment as painting and other works now in progress.

The hall / glass is one of my favourite places as the light and feel changes all the time.
Out front I needed to move some mud and the stones as the plan is to get a concrete slab laid, up to where the drain stacks are and build up a block / concrete bench against the house .
What you can see are some original footings where the steps were. Hopefully the pic makes sense.
The slab will be tiled with the terrazzo I picked up further down the thread
