RIP DHB & Prime.
DHB was decent stuff at a decent price. Otherwise the hardy winter rider, commuter or beginner get stuck at the budget end of the kit market, which is usually terrible quality, makes you hate cycling and if you do keep at it, wears out quickly.
Quality at a non-premium price point is the antithesis of Ashley products.Pre-Ashley I used to use to Evans Cycles quite a bit. Post-ashley, never. Not out of principle, but because their product range reduced/changed to crap, prices became totally uncompetitive, even on basics like chains etc. And I couldn't physically go to a shop as they closed so many.
