It's an SNP motion on an opposition day so I think some people see Labour being allowed to put an amendment as a big opposition party railroading a small opposition party. It kinda defeats the purpose of giving the SNP an opposition day.
Recently opposition days are just symbolic posturing without much purpose anyway.
