That looks so sick, the amount of solutions they seem to have come up with for practical realities of having a cargo bike in a big city is amazing.
Would like to see 2 kids in that in real life but if I only had one kid that thing looks like a no brainier. R&M though so I'm expecting it to be mega bucks $$$.

Fixed that for you ;)

Exactly. Can see why cargobikes aren't cheap, but that really is a lot of money.

I think there’s a gap in the market for these - before I bought a Load 60 for primarily bridleways and forests with my kids, I tried to find the Surly Big Fat Dummy with Bosch which would have been ideal - they were never released here though. I’d probably get this now instead (although love the Load).

R&M, nice but a bit pricey?
We have a load 75 but I got it thru cycle to work and we sold the car, so I think that’s a yes!

Picked it up yesterday, it's super cool but unfortunately the top tube is cracked up near the headtube, means it's super flexy and leans to the left so on cambered road home it basically tips over.
Will take some better pictures when it stops raining but think any old frame will work? Not sure on the geometry and stiffness requirements

Cross posting from the stolen bikes thread :(
Had our Yuba Kombi E5 electric cargo bike stolen from our Asgard locker in the front garden last night.
Have reported it to the police, and it was insured so hopefully will get most of the cost back.Am pissed off for many reasons, but particularly because they were brazen enough to force their way into the asgard shed at about 12.30 at night while we were home. Which means that now I don’t want to get a new bike and store it there.
We had a knog tracker fitted to it that indicated it was at an address not too far away in Lewisham. Went down there and sure enough found the chain and padlock that had been in the pannier bags abandoned in the driveway of the house.
Didn’t really feel like getting stabbed so didn’t go knocking on any doors, but have updated the police report with that address.
Don’t expect to get it back, but if anyone does see a bright orange Yuba Kombi E5 for sale anywhere please let me know. Only had the bike since December, so don’t even have any photos of it.

Really sorry to read that @Samuelson - fingers crossed you get it back/a replacement soon.
Is there a quick way to work out how many chains would be needed to replace one on a long tail ?

Sorry to hear that dude. I also have that shed. Gulp…

Yeah, I mean I knew that nothing is impregnable, but I really didn’t expect someone to break into it this easily.
Our neighbours doorbell caught the guy on his way out with the bike. Only one person on that footage, though I guess there could have been others that the camera missed.
That was at 12.30. Don’t know when they started, but I reckon it must have been quick.
I doubt we’ll stick another Asgard in the front garden after this, but if i did I’d definitely fit a ground anchor with a serious lock inside.

Regarding the RM mini cargo.
I like the mini part, but no way that's carrying any kids+stuff anywhere, realistically. I also don't get all the proprietary moving parts and gimmicky junk associated with it.
