Also if you can because real button holes, unbutton the first button of the sleeves.

I have even faked this with fake buttons by just sewing the first button to the outer not inner.
Much more elegant.

Oh no. Unbuttoning your cuff buttons to show you have real cuff buttonholes is showing off and simply not done.
As for faking it on a suit that doesn't have them, absolutely not. That's one step away from wearing a fake Rolex.

Horses for courses, probably culturally different (I am continental), but it really looks more elegant imo. And that's the whole idea when wearing a suit/suit jacket innit?
I up you a fake Omega "Seamaster" that I regularly wear. Was gifted by my deceased mariner grandfather though, so emotional value and errything..
But yeah, great golf club material and let's get back to the memes.

Sorry you're wrong. bq is correct.

It's akin to leaving the designer label on the outside jacket sleeve, or rolling up your selvedge to make sure everyone knows how much your jeans cost.
