I phoned the hospital and asked, 'What's the score?' and was told by the nurse 'Oh there's no problem, she'll be ages yet.' So I drove to Hull from here on the Wirral because, again, I wanted to see the course. I was riding a national championship on the Sunday and there was no question I wasn't going to ride.
