Good to see @taogeogheganhart back at the sharp end of races. He was 7th, 8 seconds behind the winner, in today’s uphill finish in the Algarve.

Good finish, that. And not what I was expecting in terms of the winner either.

Tom Pidcock going under the radar with the Tao comeback story. Not sure he's finished in a GC group in an uphill finish like that before.

That wind tunnel thing is getting out of hand

I for one didn't realise that Cipollini was second in all-time pro wins among men and that Qavendish has just caught him at 163.
https://www.procyclingstats.com/statistics/start/all-time-wins-ranking
Also that Greipel may have had more wins than Qavendish when he retired (158), although I suspect Qav has more higher-quality wins. Stats aren't something I look at a lot.

He was 8th on the same finish last year, just 2 seconds back, then won the fourth stage, also an uphill finish, to take the GC lead. He then lost 1:27 in the final time trial to finish 7th overall.

Cavendish is the Lance Armstrong among sprinters

Greipel holds the record for the most Tour Down Under stage wins, with 18. I don't believe Cavendish has ever graced the Tour Down Under with his presence.

The online Eurosport Player subscription has increased over 100% in price here, from €39.99/year to €83.88/year, and now takes a monthly instead of annual fee. Quite steep, if you ask me. Taking it up with customer service, hope they'll offer a discount or something.

Just going through some old context posts. LMAO

They told me they sympathise but 40 euros was annual, 84 is a monthly and 7 x 12... as if that's an answer to the problem.

I was wondering what was happening here. So this is going to be £7 a month. Haven’t been sent any updates T&Cs. What are the other options then?

I'm just going to subscribe from.march through to the end of the Vuelta I think..it's all on Discovery+ subscription now isn't it, or have I got that wrong? Might not even bother subscribing when the Tour is on as that's most likely on ITV4 anyway
they should have done the fake fly and pockets printed on them like carrera did back in the day.
I'd definitely buy a pair with less branding
