Is Rouen nice to stay in for a couple of nights in April? Or anywhere else between Dieppe and Paris that's easy to get to by train? Nice countryside, relaxed eats etc

Rouen is nice but the road to it is terrible.

Nice countryside
No, that's further south.

If you fill up with fuel at the Total garage on the ring road you can drive on the road to Total Rouen.

Could always have a look at Amiens, thought not quite en route to Paris.
Small city with a great atmosphere and a river -

Sounds good, will have a look at trains. Thanks

What is the pending “Google Payment Lim” (£60) payment on my debit card statement?

Something you just bought but hasn’t gone through yet?
-
• #120688
I’m fairly certain they’re Giros.

But it is downhill all the way

It worked for a bit, but doesn't seem to update the feed right so I'm back on normal YouTube.
Surely to take out a subscription via that route you need a payment method from that country?

For passport renewal; if I apply for it does it immediately invalidate the current one, or does that only happen when the new one is issued?
-
• #120692
You have to send your old one back when you renew.

Pay-at-pump ⛽? They authorise the max and then charge what you actually pump, so you see two transactions temporarily.

This could be it! Thanks.
Although I paid with my physical Mastercard. Hmmm…

Perfect! Thanks.
I've liked, subscribed and shared. So hopefully we can get you some more views.

I work in AV for events, and one time during a big budget super serious conference, some dude rocked up with a PowerPoint 30 seconds before going on stage. When he clicked past the first slide, it did the ‘curtain opening’ animation with a corny and very loud ‘tada’ sound. The entire audience of serious suits pissed themselves in unison, looking at each other in disbelief. It was sensational.

In late May, I need to travel by train from Brussels to Tilburg. Where is the best place to buy tickets for this?

Earplugs suitable for sleeping in. I'm a side-sleeper.
Preferably reusable, <£30.Are my options Bollsen or Loop?
-

My girlfriend uses Loop every night (the dog and I both snore like fuck) and she likes them. I've used them on occasion as well and they're pretty comfortable. I mostly sleep on my back but am on my side probably 25% of the time. I've not tried Bollsen to compare!

I'd give https://www.happyrail.com/en a try, it's the English version of international train travel experts 'treinreiswinkel' in NL. Just checked, a one way ticket 2nd class should be less than €25.
Greetings from Tilburg!
Looks like you found a solution but the other option is to take out a subscription via Turkey/ Argentina/ Philippines for £2 a month
