Wanted: 165mm Shimano Compact Crankset, FC-R700 or FC-5650 or FC-6650

Hi,

I recently bought a bike off ebay and am met with pretty atrocious toe overlap which I'm trying to do away with.

I was looking for a FC-R700 or FC-5650 or FC-6650 in 165mm which may be hens teeth. I'd really appreciate it if anyone had one to spare. All these cranks are shiny silver as the bike has older 10 speed mechs which won't suit black.

Are you sure the front fork is not bent.

I'm not sure as I've not had the fork out but it's a 52cm centre to centre frame so toe overlap is common. When I said it was atrocious I'll admit I was being hyperbolic.
A slightly shorter crank would be a small step in the right direction.

How about a TA Cyclotourist chainset 46/32…46 is Velo Orange and the 33 is a new TA Cyclotourist ring…includes TA bottom bracket remover and a Velo Orange 118mm BSA (68mm) BB….cranks are 165mm and it is in silver…also includes VO chainring bolts and crank bolts…All in very good condition…threads and tapers are good.

46 is ramped and pinned…suitable for 10 speed sets ups.

5750 is definitely one of the uglier shimano silver cranks but I've been looking for a couple of months now and still haven't found anything.

If you could upload some photos and give us a price I'd appreciate it.

Its a lovely crank but wouldn't really suit the bike its going on.
I'm sure someone would take this off you though.
