In the last 20 months, the Tories have had 6 of their 12 worst defeats since 1945 but apparently "the plan" is working and the two by-elections yesterday were a disaster for Labour (makes sense, only the one podium spot for 2nd worst defeat since 1945, the other an also ran 9th worst)
