I would test it if you can before buying new calipers. R8000 do have good clearance but my recollection is they still have a small measure of drop from the mounting boss so might foul. I've said it a few times before but Sram Rival 22 calipers have the best clearance i have found in a short reach caliper. The caliper arms sit flush with the underside of the mounting boss so you (should) retain what ever clearance you have at the bridge.
Tyre clearance has unsurprisingly become an issue. Fronts are a-ok with the 28c, rears….not so much.
Clears brake bridge by 1-2mm, not ideal but it’s workable. However the Sram Aerolink brakes sit a few mm lower. No dice.
Suck it up and just go to 25mm or swap the brakes for R8000000 which seem to have a mountings point that allows more clearance?
