Almost there! It still needs better tires (at the end of the winter, hopefully, since these still have plenty of mileage to do) and proper internal wiring of the rear light.

I need to sort out a decent wheelset for my caad commuter. Being an heavy rider I'd love a tankish pair of wheels (maybe even a fron dynamo hub)

Got this up and rolling, and so far I like it a bit more than I initially thought.
With the high rise stem the fit seems kind of spot on and I think it doesn't look too ridiculous with the short head tube.

Reminds me when I scored my track bike, previous owner blacked out the tan walls with a sharpie.

3rd and i think final incarnation of old(late 90s/00 i think) canti 26er -> 27,5'' sub 10kg convertion (2.3kg bare frame 😅). Swiss made Columbus Max OR with full XT/XTR gravel/crosscountry ;)

silly 11-42 gravgrav dinner plate cassette, ultegra rx mech (courtesy of @Bossman ), and 50-34 105 chainset fitted today to the Kepler.
hopefully this will give me enough get out of jail gears to spin up the inclines at the dirty reiver.

Cant remember who recommended them but I def got the idea off the forum. Just got these from german ebay (much cheaper than ebay.co.uk! If you have a way of dodging past the brexit surcharges...)

They really are pretty! Theyll get a single Surly chainring and self extracting bolts.

I have a pair on a thorn, they where a temporary place holder but they work and look good so have stayed on.

That might have been me. Depending on your chainstay width you can try to set it up with the single ring on the outer position and a shorter than standard (122mm) BB spindle for a narrow q factor.
