During my visit to Malmesbury earlier this week, I also collected these 36h Cliffhangers for my Overbury’s Pioneer, reusing the original Deore LX hubs from 1990. They replaced Mavic MB-40s which I think had 13(?)mm internal width. The 2.1” GK SKs have ballooned to 56mms on these wide bois, such a pleasing profile. So wide I need new straddle cables, lol. Also happy to report that VO’s cantilever rack is a direct fit. And peep the @Hulsroy side-loaders too, perfect for the retro double downtube bidon setup going on here.
