Planted individual cloves, so a bit surprised to see multiple shoots. I'll leave them for now and see what happens.

Yeah that threw me a bit. Once the leaves yellow (June/July typically) you should have a great stash there.

That does seem strange. You could lift one to see what’s happening? (I’m intrigued, hence the suggestion)

For ref my garlic is nearest the camera here.
