It was slow. I really wasn't moving well.
Because of a crash and sickness I'd only done two short runs in my new trail shoes and they were awful!! So painful. I'm going back to hokas.
But given how ill I'd been in the week, I was glad to get round to be honest. Ended up 40th.
Will have another go next year. I enjoyed the format, just had nothing in the legs
Was listening to Gustav Iden the other day say how some days you just don’t have it no matter what the build up was like you’re just not there that day.
Then you just gotta enjoy the experience.
I enjoyed it enough to want to do another one.
